Columbus, Ind. – IU Columbus Athletics is proud to spotlight IU Health as the official healthcare and athletic training services provider for the Crimson Pride, supporting the health, safety, and performance of all student-athletes through world-class sports medicine expertise.

Through this partnership, IU Health Orthopedics and Sports Medicine provides comprehensive care to IU Columbus student-athletes. Certified Athletic Trainer Tim Lappin serves as an on-site resource from IU Health, offering consistent support at practices, games, and in a dedicated training space on campus. In addition, athletes have direct access to IU Health physicians in Bloomington and the Nashville medical building, including specialists in orthopedics and sports medicine.

This collaboration delivers immediate, high-quality medical care throughout training and competitive seasons, strengthening the connection between IU Columbus and the broader Indiana University system while ensuring student-athletes receive specialized attention when they need it most.
