The River States Conference announced the Men's Basketball All-Conference teams on Thursday, and two Crimson Pride players were among those honored. Graduate student Trevin Lieck was named to the 2nd team, while junior Damontae Thompson grabbed 3rd team honors. Lieck and Thompson are the first Crimson Pride basketball players to earn All-Conference awards.

Trevin Lieck was one of the best big men in the conference, averaging 17.5 points per game, good for 5th in the conference. He finished 4th in the conference in rebounding, pulling down 7.3 boards per game.

Damontae Thompson was one of the leading playmakers as he led the conference in steals, swiping 2.5 per game. He was also 4th in the conference with 5.2 assists per game.

Coach James Adams: " I have had the pleasure of coaching and being around both of these players when they were playing in youth leagues in Madison, Wisconsin. I really wish we had Trevin for more than this one year, but he gave us his all and really battled against some bigger and deeper frontcourts all year. Damontae continues to work and improve his all-around game. These two players both showed great heart and leadership. Hopefully this season was a stepping stone to better years ahead, and these two players have helped put us on the right path. I am very proud of both of these young men."
