Columbus, IN (April 13, 2026) — Indiana University Columbus and the Columbus Parks and Recreation Department are pleased to announce a new agreement for the Circle K Fieldhouse at NexusPark to become the new home for Crimson Pride men's and women's soccer.
"We are thrilled to have this elite, professional indoor facility as our home turf, it's clearly one of the best in our conference and region," said Kevin Nolan, IU Columbus Director of Soccer and head coach for both teams. "The staff at NexusPark have been amazing to work with, so welcoming and accommodating."
Nolan said that current players, recruits and visiting teams have all commented on the top-notch facilities, including brand new turf, sound system, close-to-the-field seating, locker rooms and concessions.
"I'm excited to see how this facility elevates our program and helps us attract and retain high-level student-athletes," added IU Columbus Athletic Director Zach McClellan. "Having an indoor home venue for soccer is extremely rare at the NAIA level, and it's a testament to the incredible support we receive from the Columbus community."
Nolan added that the NexusPark location is also convenient, with AEI Fitness Center just down the hall, as well as medical services and the university campus nearby. Additionally, IU Columbus has partnered with Mother Bear's Pizza for team (and visiting team) meals.
"It's a one-stop shop!" Nolan said. "Plus, we don't have to worry about cancelling games due to weather or poor field conditions."
"This partnership with IU Columbus Soccer represents exactly what the Circle K Fieldhouse was designed for, not only to support tourism but also to support our local community and programs," added Associate Director of Sports Brady Buckley for Columbus Parks and Recreation. "We're excited for what's ahead for their program and proud to support them as they continue to grow."
In addition to having most home games at NexusPark, IU Columbus will be hosting the women's soccer Crimson Cup tournament for all IU regional campuses on April 18, as well as an ID camp on May 30 and youth camp July 13-17.
