Katie Cruise brings a positive energy to the Crimson Pride Volleyball program. She is passionate about coaching and believes every day is a day to learn, and moments of failure are opportunities for growth.

Katie was a standout high school player at Providence High School in Charlotte, North Carolina. She began her college volleyball career at Appalachian State for two years beginning in 2022. She also played at UT Martin, before finishing her college career at Texas A&M Corpus Christi, where she earned her Bachelor's Degree in General Education in 2025.

Katie began coaching club volleyball while she was playing in college. She coached the Appalachian Volleyball Club team in 2022 - 2023. She then coached for the Tri-Star Juniors and the Carolina Union Volleyball Club before moving on to coach at Belmont Abbey College in 2025. She is excited to bring her experience to IU Columbus.
