Cora Baker led the Crimson Pride offense with 13 kills while adding 12 digs for a double-double performance. However, the team struggled to find their rhythm offensively, hitting just .081 for the match against a strong Shawnee State defense.
After falling behind two sets, IU Columbus showed resilience in the third set, securing a 25-23 victory to extend the match. Sadie Egan contributed to the comeback effort with 8 kills and 11 digs, while Kenzie Bostic added 5 kills on 20 attempts.
