Box Score In the second installation of Crimson Pride volleyball at Circle K Fieldhouse, IU Columbus emerged victorious with a hard-fought 3-1 win.
The match began with IU Columbus asserting their dominance, taking the first set with a convincing 25-18 score. However, Oakland City, determined not to go down without a fight, rallied in the second set to even the match with a 25-17 win.
The third set saw IU Columbus regain their momentum and regain their composure. Claiming a dominant 25-13 victory and taking the lead heading into the fourth set.
The fourth set proved to be a nail-biter, with both teams trading points in a display of high-level volleyball.
Sophomore
Cora Baker led the charge for IU Columbus, hammering down an impressive 14 kills with a stellar .480 hitting percentage. Her performance was complemented by freshman
Sadie Egan, who not only contributed 7 kills but also orchestrated the offense masterfully with 18 assists.
