Volleyball's Historic Season Highlighted by Five All-Conference Selections

MIDDLETOWN, OH. – Following a record-breaking season for the IU Columbus volleyball program, five Crimson Pride student-athletes have been recognized with River States Conference All-Conference honors, the conference announced — the most in program history. The Crimson Pride finished the 2025 campaign with a 20-8 overall record and an 11-5 mark in conference play, earning a No. 6 seed in the RSC Tournament after being picked 10th in the preseason poll.

Cora Baker – 1st Team All-Conference
Junior standout Cora Baker made history by becoming the first player in IU Columbus Athletics history to earn 1st Team All-Conference honors. Baker was a force on both sides of the net, finishing the year with 275 kills (3.02 per set), 716 total attacks, and a strong .233 hitting percentage. She also contributed 232 digs and 23 service aces while totaling 308.5 points. Her consistency and all-around skill made her one of the most dynamic outside hitters in the RSC and a cornerstone of the Crimson Pride's success.

Ruthie Bingham – 2nd Team All-Conference
Senior Ruthie Bingham capped her career with a 2nd Team All-Conference selection after playing a key leadership role in the team's breakout season. Bingham registered 272 kills (2.89 per set) and added 204 digs, showcasing her veteran poise and two-way ability. Her performance and presence on and off the court helped elevate the program to new heights, closing her career as one of the most impactful players in program history.

Journee Brown – 2nd Team All-Conference
Middle hitter Journee Brown also earned 2nd Team All-Conference honors following a dominant season at the net. Brown hit an impressive .307 on the year while recording 160 kills (1.58 per set) and 51 total blocks (0.50 per set). Her efficiency and defensive presence were key to IU Columbus's strong front-line play and helped solidify the Crimson Pride as one of the top defensive teams in the league.

Sadie Egan – 3rd Team All-Conference
Sophomore Sadie Egan earned 3rd Team All-Conference recognition after proving to be one of the most versatile players on the roster. Egan tallied 139 kills (1.45 per set) and 195 digs, while also serving as one of the team's most reliable servers with 39 aces on the year. Her all-around contributions and ability to excel in multiple roles made her an essential piece of the Crimson Pride's balanced attack.

Bailey Stevens – 3rd Team All-Conference
Setter Bailey Stevens rounded out the honors with a 3rd Team All-Conference selection, directing the Crimson Pride offense with poise and precision. Stevens dished out a remarkable 608 assists (5.90 per set) and added 198 digs, serving as the team's engine throughout the season. Her leadership at the setter position was instrumental in guiding IU Columbus to its most successful campaign to date.

The historic 2025 season marked a major milestone for IU Columbus volleyball — a team that not only shattered expectations but also established itself as a rising contender in the River States Conference.
