COLUMBUS, Ind. – The IU Columbus women's soccer team earned its first win of the 2025 season in emphatic fashion, defeating Alice Lloyd College (KY) 14-0 on Wednesday afternoon at Richard Wigh Soccer Complex. The victory not only secured the Crimson Pride's first result in the win column this fall, but also etched its place in the program record books with several historic achievements.

IUC's 14 goals marked the most in a single game in program history,
for both men's and women's, breaking the previous record for
offensive output (7). Jessica Finfera & Lily Campbell ASThe 14-goal margin also stands as the largest win in program history.

The offensive showcase was led by Lily Campbell, Madalynn Phillips, and Jessica Finfera, who each recorded hat tricks—the first time in IU Columbus
soccer history that three players scored three goals in the same game. They also became the first women's players in program history to record hat tricks. Prior to tonight, the last Crimson Pride player to score a hat
trick was Jon Michael Bright on the men's side in 2023.

Campbell finished with three goals and an assist,
Phillips contributed three goals of her own, and Finfera delivered three goals and an assist. IUC saw balanced scoring throughout the roster as well, with Rebecca Valdez (2 goals), Madesyn Sunderhaus (1 goal, 1 assist), Ellis Kerns (1 goal), and Madelynn Thangam (1 goal) each adding to the historic tally.

The Crimson Pride dominated from start to finish, out-shooting the Eagles 67-1 and forcing 19 saves from the opposing goalkeeper. IUC's defense allowed just one shot on goal, with goalkeepers Mallory Gilley and Zoe Bippus combining for the shutout.

With the victory, IU Columbus improves to 1-2-1 on the year.

Next Up: The Crimson Pride are back in action on their home pitch Sunday (Sept. 14) as they take on Eureka College. Kickoff is set for 4:30 PM.
