Tori Mercado is a dedicated track and field coach and business professional whose career spans multiple industries, including construction, sports and entertainment, and technology consulting. A proud graduate of the Kelley School of Business at IU Indianapolis, Tori also holds a sales certification from the prestigious Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, showcasing her commitment to professional growth and excellence.

Tori brings a wealth of coaching experience to IU Columbus, where she joins the Crimson Pride as an assistant track and field coach specializing in jumps. A former standout sprinter and 4x100 relay record holder at Greenwood Community High School, Tori was a multi-time indoor and outdoor state qualifier. Over the past four years, she has coached sprints and long jump at Greenwood, developing top-performing athletes who have gone on to compete at the collegiate level. Her expertise and passion for mentorship make her a valuable addition to the program.

In addition to her coaching career, Tori serves as the Business Development Manager for Weddle Brothers Construction Companies, where she excels as a relationship builder, networker, and mentor. Her diverse background in marketing and sales reflects her ability to adapt and thrive across industries.

Outside of her professional and coaching roles, Tori is a proud wife and mom to two children under two. A self-proclaimed "new experience fanatic," she loves fun adventures, connecting with others, and spending time with animals—especially dogs.
