Box Score The Brescia Bearcats defeated the Crimson Pride 81-56 Tuesday night at the Circle K Fieldhouse at Nexus Park. IUC kept it close early, trailing 20-15 at the end of the first quarter. Brescia used their deep, physical roster to stretch the lead to 12 before reserve Lily Campbell nailed a 3 pointer at the halftime buzzer to make the score 36-27. The Bearcats poured it on in the third quarter, outscoring the Crimson Pride 32-16 to lead 58-43 going into the fourth. Brescia head coach Nick Chaykowski said they focused on stopping IUC leading scorer Abby Fleetwood from getting open looks inside and pressuring Hadassah Hurt and Amaya Collins at the 3 point line. Collins led the Crimson Pride with 25 points and Fleetwood added 13.
