COLUMBUS, Ind. – The IU Columbus Men's Basketball program has officially announced its 2026-27 season schedule, the Crimson Pride Athletic Department revealed.
Entering its third year of competition, the program continues to build momentum while ushering in a new era under Head Coach Todd Howard. With a full slate of conference and non-conference matchups, the Crimson Pride look to take another step forward in establishing their identity within the River States Conference.
The 2026-27 campaign features a balanced mix of home and away contests, beginning in late October and continuing through February. IU Columbus will face a variety of regional opponents, including matchups against IU South Bend, Simmons College, and Holy Cross College in the early portion of the season.
Conference play ramps up in December and carries through the winter months, highlighted by key matchups against IU Southeast, Midway University, WVU Tech, and IU Kokomo. The Crimson Pride will also host several doubleheader conference dates, creating an exciting environment for fans at NexusPark.
The home schedule includes notable contests against Boyce College, Defiance College, the University of Northwest Ohio, and Wright State – Lake Campus, along with multiple River States Conference opponents. Senior Day is scheduled for January 30 when IU Columbus hosts the University of Rio Grande.
As the program enters year three, the focus remains on continued growth and competitiveness within the conference. With new leadership at the helm, the Crimson Pride are looking to build a strong foundation and elevate their level of play throughout the season.
