Box Score The IU Columbus women's soccer team were definitely ready to go at the start of Wednesday's match against Alice Lloyd. Madison Merritt found the back of the net just 25 seconds into the game and set the pace for a dominating performance.

Merritt's goal, on an assist by Nadia Harris, set a record for the fastest goal in Crimson Pride history. IU Columbus kept up the pressure throughout the first half, and Lily Campbell scored the second goal of the half at the 35:59 mark on an assist from Parker Austrup.

Campbell scored her second goal of the game (her third on the season) on an assist by Lydia Wooley at 57:46. Merritt then added her second goal with an assist from Octavia Hall at 84:16.

The Crimson Pride dominated this contest from the start in all statistical categories, and did not allow a single shot on goal from the Eagles.

Coach Kevin Nolan: "I was extremely happy with the team's performance today. We rotated the squad quite a bit so we could give some of the girls who don't usually start a chance to gain experience and be used more with the starting lineup. I'm always happy with a shutout at home and scoring four goals is just a cherry on top. We had a lot of firsts today, including captain Maddie Merritt's first collegiate goal in the first 30 seconds of the game, which is the quickest goal I've seen since coaching both programs."
