Cam Gross is entering his first season as a member of the IU Columbus Baseball coaching staff, where he will work closely with the hitters and outfielders, while also assisting with base-running instruction. His dynamic energy and wide-ranging coaching experience bring valuable insight to the Crimson Pride program.

A former collegiate outfielder, Gross began his playing career at Ivy Tech Community College before completing his athletic and academic journey at Indiana University South Bend, earning a bachelor’s degree in Sport Management.

Cam launched his coaching career at the high school and travel baseball levels, with stints at Carmel High School and Pike High School, as well as with elite travel programs including Indiana Nitro and Canes Midwest. His ability to connect with players and develop talent has been evident throughout his coaching stops.

Most recently, Gross served as the hitting coach at Westminster College (Fulton, MO) and at Inspiration Academy Post Grad in Bradenton, Florida. While at Inspiration Academy, he helped the program achieve a record-breaking season, setting a new single-season wins mark.

Coach Gross brings a player-first mentality, a deep understanding of offensive development, and a commitment to helping student-athletes grow on and off the field.
