Zach Roberts is a committed soccer coach and mentor from Columbus, Indiana, with a growing career dedicated to developing confident, skilled, and resilient goalkeepers. Since 2021, Zach has served as the assistant varsity and goalkeeper coach for Columbus East High School, as well as the goalkeeper coach for the Columbus Express Soccer Club. His experience across both school and club levels has allowed him to shape athletes in competitive environments while fostering leadership and mental toughness.

In 2025, Zach joined IU Columbus as the Men’s and Women’s Goalkeeper Coach and Men’s Assistant Coach, bringing with him four years of focused goalkeeper training expertise. His coaching philosophy emphasizes that goalkeeping is “90% mental and 10% skill,” and he strives to create an atmosphere that enhances his players’ confidence, creativity, and leadership both on and off the pitch.

Beyond the technical aspects of the game, Zach is passionate about preparing athletes for life beyond soccer—helping them develop the mindset and character needed to succeed in any arena.
