The IU Columbus men's soccer team played art IU Northwest on Labor Day and and they were shut out by the RedHawks (5-2-0). This game was close in every statistical category but the one that mattered with a final score of 2-0.

The RedHawks got on the board with a goal by Chrisitan Sanclemente Roa at the 20:41 mark on an assist from Gavin Niebel. Niebel scored the only goal of the second half at 48:14 with an assist by Ezekiel Mugisha. 

Each team had five corner kicks and 16 fouls. IU Columbus was issued two yellow cards (Noah Cordero and Cruz Jafri), while Alan Nunez of IU Northwest received a yellow card in the second half.

Coach Kevin Nolan: "I was very disappointed in the play today from start to finish. We started slow and ended slow. Hopefully we use this as a wake-up call and get everyone back on the sane page. Congrats to IU Northwest on executing a great game plan against us."
