Game Recap: Women's Soccer |

Women's Soccer Battles To A Draw

The Crimson Pride women's soccer team hosted a very good Georgetown College team on Wednesday night at Nexus Park. This was a defensive battle throughout, and the result was a scoreless draw. Scoring opportunities were scarce as each team only had three shots on goal. While the game was hard fought there was only one yellow card (IUC's Lily Campbell).

Coach Kevin Nolan: "Amazing performance from the ladies, probably one of if not the best total team performance in our program's history. Every player left it all out on the field and did not stop running for 90 minutes. You could see the desire and passion they had from the kickoff all the way to end. There are good draws and bad draws in soccer. Tonight, for us was a good draw. Georgetown is a very talented side and our girls matched them and even had a chance to steal the win at the end. Overall, I am extremely proud of the ladies tonight. And I believe it is the first time we will start the season undefeated in the whole month of August!"

Next on the schedule: The Crimson Pride will travel to East Chicago on Saturday to play IU Northwest
