Sophie Parker is an enthusiastic and driven soccer coach from Shelbyville, Indiana, who brings a wealth of playing experience and a deep love for the game to the IU Columbus coaching staff. A graduate of Shelbyville High School and former standout for Columbus Express, Sophie began playing soccer at a young age and has dedicated 18 years to the sport. She continued her career at the collegiate level with Indiana University Columbus, proudly competing during the program’s inaugural season.

Her impact on the game extends beyond the field. For the past five years, Sophie has volunteered as a youth soccer coach in Shelbyville, helping to guide and inspire young athletes through skill development and mentorship. Her commitment to youth sports and community involvement highlights her dedication to growing the game from the ground up.

Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Sophie is focused on continuing her growth as a coach while supporting the development of her players. She is dedicated to creating a positive, competitive environment where athletes can thrive and reach their full potential—on the field and in life.
