BECKLEY, W. Va. — West Virginia University Institute of Technology scored two unanswered second-half goals to erase an early deficit and top Indiana University Columbus, 2-1, in a River States Conference women's soccer match at Paul Cline Stadium on October 3, 2026.

With the result, WVU Tech moved to 5-5-1 overall (1-1 RSC), while IU Columbus fell to 5-3-1 overall (0-1 RSC).

Head Coach Kevin Nolan: "I was extremely proud of the women in their effort against a very tough West Virginia Tech team. We started the second half on fire on Miranda's first collegiate goal. Unfortunately we couldn't hold the lead for long. However, I'm very pleased in the girls' effort to go on the road and battle as well as they did."
