Wyatt Sutton is a senior infielder for IU Columbus, bringing versatility and experience to the middle infield. The 6-foot-1 native of Greenfield, Indiana is a graduate of Eastern Hancock High School, where he excelled as a two-sport athlete in baseball and tennis.
At the collegiate level, Sutton has earned the Flying Lion Award twice for stolen bases, showcasing his speed and ability to impact the game on the basepaths. During his high school career, he was named All-Conference and All-County and was a three-time MVP, highlighting his consistent production and leadership.
On the tennis court, Sutton was part of a Doubles Regional Championship team and received the King of the Net Award, demonstrating his athleticism and competitive drive across multiple sports.
Sutton competed in summer baseball with the Indy Black Sox, Midwest Astros, and Indiana Nitro, gaining valuable experience against strong competition.
The son of Bob and Carrie Sutton, Wyatt credits Chad Coughenhour as a key influence in his development. He is majoring in Business Management while continuing his leadership role within the IU Columbus baseball program.
